CTET Written Exam Pattern

Key Points:

  • Candidates have two options- Paper-1 & Paper-2
  • Candidates aspiring to become a teacher at primary level have to apply for Paper 1
  • Candidates aspiring to become a teacher at the elementary level will have to appear for Paper 2.
  • Those who want to apply for both primary and secondary level teachers have to appear in both the papers
  • Both the papers will be conducted on the same date
  • Both the papers will be MCQ based question paper
  • Each paper will be of 150 marks, in which each question will be of 1 mark.

3. CTET Paper-1 & Paper-2 Important Point

  • Candidates securing minimum 60% or more marks will qualify the online test
  • Candidates will receive an eligibility certificate which will be valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of result
  • Also, candidates with eligibility certificate can apply for the post of teacher in private or central government schools
  • Candidates having eligibility certificate for both primary and primary level can apply to read at both the level
